Craft Addiction UK Holly Wreath

Hi Lovelies...

It's another Christmas card from me today - this time using the Holly Wreath from Craft Addiction UK.

I die cut it twice, then did some smooshing with green Distress Oxide ink pads to colour it.  Then I coloured the berries and covered them with Glossy Accents.  Lastly I splattered white onto the wreath I was using as the top layer.

I used a snowfall embossing folder for the background, which I matted onto green cardstock. I then added the wreaths, one on top of the other to give thickness.  I added a little bow cut in gold glitter card from the die set at the top.

Lastly, I used a Merry Christmas die which I cut from gold mirri, with a shadow cut from red.  I adhered it with foam pads.

Craft Addiction Believe in the Magic

Hi Lovelies...

For my card today, I've used a fabulous new die from Craft Addiction UK called Believe in the Moment.  It's from their latest release - which, I have to say, I bought nearly all of, it was sooooooo good!!!

Firstly I die cut the image, cutting it twice and adhering together to give thickness.  I used a circle die (slightly larger than the one included in the pack), so I had a thicker frame edge... which I needed to be able to adhere with foam tape.  I added a circle of acetate behind the frame.  Then I created the blended background... using blue Distress Oxides from light to dark.  I splattered with white paint for the snow and then let it dry.  I then cut a circle from the blended background the same size as the front.  I added foam tape onto the acetate around the image and tiny bits behind the larger parts of the image, then sprinkled some tiny sequin jewels onto the acetate, before finishing with the blended background, sealing the sequins in.

I created the card panel by using the Magical Snowfall embossing folder - again from Craft Addiction UK - from navy coloured cardstock.  I adhered the shaker element onto the card panel - then added the sentiment which I'd created on the PC, and diecut with a stitched rectangle die.

I really enjoyed creating this card - and have more of the fabulous dies like this to make - so watch this space!  Hope you like it as much as I loved making it!

Autumn Leaves

Hi Lovelies..

Today I'm sharing a card I made for Autumn... so out came my kraft card and my browns!

I did some smooshing with Distress Oxides and gold watercolour paint - then diecut the leaves.  The die that I used comes with the outline - which I die cut in gold.

Then I cut a background panel from kraft card - creating some embossed lines with my score board.  I popped a couple of strips of brown card too either side of the embossed lines.

Then I placed the leaves over to the left, to look like they were tumbling from a tree.  I adhered them with foam tape to give depth.  Lastly, I added a sentiment that I'd created on the PC, which I cut with the smallest of my stitched rectangle dies, then layered with gold mirri card, again, adhering with foam tape.

Card Info:
Leaves die set - sorry, no manufacturer shown
Distress Oxides - Carved Pumpkin, Gathered Twigs
and Walnut Stain
Gold Watercolour
Sentiment - done on PC - Connie Font

Hope you like my card... I enjoyed making it as it's just right for this time of year - there's leaves falling all around us at the moment!

Waffle Flower Balloon Cluster

Hi Lovelies...

For my card today, I've used this gorgeous set from Waffle Flower called Balloon Cluster - it includes a die set and a stencil.  I decided to cut the balloons first, then stencil as I found this worked best for me.

For my first card, I wanted to use pastel colours from my Distress Oxides..  I think I managed that!  I just used blending brushes, keeping the side away from the light slightly darker.  After the colouring, I popped the second stencil that has the light reflection patch in place, and used sparkly embossing paste through it.  Then I used an embossing tool to shape the balloons, before adhering them to my panel with foam pads.  Lastly, I added a sentiment which I heat embossed with silver embossing powder

Card Info:
Waffle Flower Balloon Cluster
Distress Oxides -
Shaded Lilac/Dusty Concord,
Spun Sugar/Kitsch Flamingo/Picked Raspberry,
Saltwater Taffy/Rusty Hinge,
Cracked Pistachio/Forest Moss,
Broken China/Twisted Citron,
Sentiment - Gina K Fancy Phrases

My second card is very similar, I just wanted to use more bold colours on the red background.  I'm sorry, but I didn't note the Distress Oxide colours!

Hope you like my balloon makes today as much as I enjoyed making them!

LOTV Ballerinas

Hi Lovlies..

Today these gorgeous Ballerinas have taken over my craft room!  Everywhere I look there is a tutu!  They're from LOTV - and are digital stamps, which I've coloured (in pink of course), then fussy cut, adhering them to my cards, before giving them lots of sparkle!

For my first one, I've used this die from Waffle Flower, with a corresponding frame cut from silver glitter card.  I used pink dottie cardstock for the background.

Then for my second, I've just kept her CAS (as much as any ballerina could be THAT!)  Again, coloured and fussy cut, adding her to the Stitched Square panel, then stamping the sentiment and heat embossing with silver.

Lastly, I used another stitched square panel, again adhering the ballerina with foam tape, but this time I added some gold glitter stars, and have heat embossed the sentiment in gold to match.

Pink & Main Flower Seed Packet Dies

Hi Lovelies..

I'm back with another card made using the Pink & Main Flower Seed Packet die set...  this time I've used a smooshed background.

I die cut and coloured the flowers, adhering them to the scalloped oval that is also in the set.  I placed the oval on the background, then die cut a sentiment I'd also recently used from Memory Box - I cut it from rose gold matt card three times and layered it up which gives a nice effect.
