Clearly Besotted Pawly Plushies

Hi Lovelies..

OK I'm back in my favourite land...  oh so pink and oh so cute!  I dug out a lovely stamp set called Pawly Plushies from Clearly Besotted, that I'm ashamed to say hadn't been opened - and got stamping, colouring and fussy cutting!

Then I created a background for each bear - I used post it tape across die-cut rectangles, so I could Distress Oxide blend some pinks above.  Then I splattered with water, gold watercolour paint and a deep pink watercolour paint too.

Before adhering the bears with 3D foam pads, I added one of the sentiments that came with the set...  oh and for one of the cards, a happy birthday sentiment from another Clearly Besotted set.

Sorry this post is picture heavy - but I couldn't resist giving each bear his time in the spotlight!

Altenew Cape Marguerite

Hey Peeps...

I have a love of marguerites, especially white ones, so for my card today I've used the Altenew Cape Marguerite Layering Die Set... giving them a slight bit of colour, and of course that bright yellow centre!

I did a bit of Distress Oxide blending for the circle which I'd diecut...  then splattered water and gold watercolour paint to give some texture.  Lastly I added a diecut 'hello' and a few gold enamel dots.

I'm finding it very difficult to photograph my cards recently, as the photos always appear with a blue-ish cast (reflecting the blue skies here lately!) and no matter how I edit, they still look blue-ish to me!

Anyways... hope you like!

Circles Birthday

Hi Lovelies...

I'm not getting into my craft room as much as I'd like lately, you know when sometimes we lose the impetus and struggle a bit?  Well that's where I am now..  it's difficult to say why.

Anyways... I got myself in there today to try to break through the block.  I had seen a card like this some years back and wanted to give the style a go, so here it is.  I diecut circles of different diameters, coloured them with my Copics, and adhered them with 3D foam pads in a random-type pattern, then added a sentiment.  I cut the overhanging circles off the white panel, then matted it onto red cardstock.

LOTV Spring Rabbits

Hi Lovelies...

Well even though it's still mid-winter here in the UK, I'm thinking Spring - as these gorgeous little bunnies from LOTV will confirm!  They've been waiting for an outing since I bought them last year, so out they came.

I decided to go relatively CAS for my card, with lots of white space.  The bunnies are so cute, they definitely needed centre stage.  I coloured and fussy cut them, adhering them to my white diecut square panel, then used Prismacolor pencils for the grass.  I added an older but much loved sentiment from Paper Smooches, then matted the white panel to a layer of card to match each rabbit.

Now, you know what rabbits are like, and what they get up to...  so this post is picture heavy with them in lots of different colours! Get a cuppa, put your feet up and read on - I'd love to know which is your favourite colour...

Waffle Flower Postage Stencils and Die Set

Hi Lovelies...

For my card today, I've been playing with the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Collection which includes stencils, stamps and a die.  Of course, I used my favourite colour to stencil the roses!

I completed the stenciling, then diecut the panel, before stamping the postage marks over the images.  Then I matted and layered the panel onto pink card, then onto the white card base.

Pink Fresh Studio Arch Florals

Hi Lovelies..

This gorgeous set of stencils, stamps and dies from Pink Fresh Studio have been sitting in my 'to use soon' stash for a little while, so as I've had a little more time lately, out they came to be loved! Oh and my goodness... I DO love how this card turned out!

I firstly stamped the image, then stencilled the flowers and leaves.  I did the diecutting and laid them to one side while I created the card base.  I used dotty cardstock and diecut an arch...  then I used the same size die and the next one down in the stack to create a fine gold rim to the arch in the dotty card.  I adhered acetate to the back of the main arch, then adhered the gold edge - so creating a space for sequins to make a shaker which I backed with glitter card.

I then adhered the diecut flowers around the edge of the arch with 3D foam pads, adding a diecut sentiment too.

Waffle Flower With Love

Hey Lovelies...

Firstly - Happy New Year to you all and here's to a wonderful 2024!

Now, after being a little quiet with my makes over the holiday period, I'm back today to share a card I made with the Waffle Flower Print and Scipt With Love die set.

Firstly, I cut a circle from white cardstock, then die cut the words - the 'with' is from Champagne Glitter Card, and the 'love' from pink card.  I cut the outlines in vellum to give texture and form - adhering them to the white circle.

I used some Craft Consortium Designer Paper for the background, adding a strip of ribbon and a very fine strip of the glitter card on top. Finally I added some tiny hearts also cut from the glitter card.

Card Info:
Dies - Waffle Flower Print and Script With Love, Spellbinders Circle
Designer Paper - Craft Consortium Ink Drops Candy Paper Pad
Glitter Card

Hope you like my make today as much as I enjoyed making it.
