Memory Box Christmas Scene

Hi Lovelies....

Last week, I received a lovely card from a crafty friend in Sweden - and I was inspired to try a similar design myself as I loved it so much!

I used a snowflakes embossing folder for my background.... then cut a circle which I blended with Distress Oxides.  I then diecut the little hillside scene (using a really old die!), cutting that also with the circle die so that it fit snugly onto the original circle.  I used a Posca pen to create the snow, then edged the circle with crystal Stickles glitter glue.  I added a holly sprig which I'd punched out (with a very old punch!) and coloured.  I then adhered the scene to my background, matting and layering to blue and finally my white card base.

Lastly, I created a little sentiment which I stamped with Versamark on some scrap Distress Oxide blended card - so that it matched the scene, and embossed it in white.  I backed it with some card I'd glittered with Stickles glitter glue.

  1. Such a lovely calming Christmas card! I love the embossed snowflakes. (Very nice snowflake embossing folder) the glitter around the edge of the circle and the little touch of holly.....it is perfect! I soooo wish I could mail my Christmas card to you.
