Hi Lovelies...
Today I'm sharing a CAS card - white on white with a splash of gold and colour, that evolved while I made it.
Firstly I die cut the butterfly from a Distress Oxide blended piece of card, which I'd splattered with gold watercolour paint. Then I created an embossed panel, with a smallish pattern. I diecut the gold circles for the centre cutting two in white also to give depth. I adhered them together, then adhered these to the embossing. Then I decided to use one of the white offcuts for the centre and adhered that.
I added a tiny sentiment which I'd embossed in gold on white, then gave that a gold shadow with mirri cardstock - matching the matt and layer gold.
Card Info:
Dies: MFT Butterfly, Simon Says Stamp Circle Loops
Crafts Too Embossing Folder
Sentiment - Pretty Pink Posh Simple Sentiments
Distress Oxides - Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed
Sorry for the extra photos - I was trying to get the butterfly in the best light to show the splatters!
Hope you like my make today...
Hugs
Good Morning Christine! What a beautiful card. So calming and so lovely! I love how you did the butterfly and the gold really makes it all come together!
