Hi Lovelies...
Today I'm back with my card using lots and lots of butterflies... I decided to do a 'flight' a they all took off to fly to their next flowers!
Firstly, I did some rainbow ink blending using Distress Oxides onto white card, then I die cut the butterflies using a new die to me - it's by Hero Arts and is called Butterfly Confetti. I had seen a card recently which I loved, using tiny butterflies, so had found this cover plate die online.
Then after they were cut, it was about placing them! Obviously they had to be in rainbow order - and I decided to keep the larger ones in the centre, with the tinies around the edges.
I finished by adding tiny gems to the butterflies, then lots of glitter dots around the edges. I added a tiny sentiment and it was done. I added the panel to a card base which I'd rainbow coloured to match around the edge.
Card Info:
Dies - Hero Arts Butterfly Confetti, MFT Stitched Rectangles
Distress Oxides - Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed,
Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet
Sentiment - Alex Syberia Designs Celebrations
Hope you like my butterfly card - I'm afraid with the recent rainy days, the light wasn't good for my photographs, so it doesn't show at it's best. Ah well.... one day I'll get a GOOD photo!
Big hugs...
Christine, figuring out how to place you pretty little butterflies must have been a bit hard at first! BUT THE RESULT is sooooo nice!!!!!!
