Yellow???? Yikes... Yes, it's me!

Hi Lovelies...

It IS me.... using one of the colours that as you know, I generally avoid... but I decided this fabulous bloom needed a sunshine colour - so I picked out my yellow zig markers, and this is the result!

It's been pouring with rain here all day today, so this colouring really brightened my mood...  and I decided to use gold mirri card as a mat for the 'beautiful' word and also for the whole card.  It's difficult to photograph, but I think you can just spot that it IS actually gold!

Card Info:
Stamp - MFT Beautiful Bloom
Die - MFT Beautiful Word Die
(both available in the UK from Dies to Die For)
Other sentiment done on PC
Colouring - Zig Clean Colour Markers
Gems

My design was inspired by a card I spotted on The Unpampered Stamper's blog (thanks!)..  which had stamped images of this bloom over the edge of the card..  I liked the effect so decided to give it a try.

Hope you like my make today - it's an effective card, but doesn't take a lot of colouring... I only used two colours then used a water brush to blend.  With water colours - I always feel that the blending shouldn't be absolutely perfect - well that's my excuse!
