Hi Lovelies...
It's Bellarific Friday time again - and this time we are showcasing some of the fabulous recent release. I chose to use these gorgeous Valentine Chicks.. but I had the devil of a job to photograph the card, as the brown that they're sitting on, tends to look black on the photo... hmmmm! Isn't it weird that something that looks mid-brown in real life, can look so dark when photographed.
Anyways... brown it is.. a lovely chocolate brown to suit what the middle chick is carrying. This is what we'd all like on Valentines Day, isn't it? A lovely card, a red rose.... oooh and that chocolate! My mouth was watering while I coloured it
Card Info:
Die - MFT Stitched Scalloped Basic Edges 2
Paper - Lawn Fawn Let's Polka Mon Amie
Colouring - Copics
Chicks - Y21/23/35, YR14/04/18
Chcolate - E31/39/59
Reds - R24/27/39
Gold Mirri Card
I enjoyed using the Mirri card with the brown - although again, it's not photographed well.. but looks classy in real life.
Hope you'll pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog to see what my fellow babes and our fellababe have come up with.. some gorgeousness there!
Then have you joined in yet with our challenge over on Facebook? Hope so!!
Now we're off out today for a lovely pub lunch - it's 16 years today since I first met my lovely man - so we're celebrating!
Have a great weekend all...
Hugs

Great stamp love the design and great colour choice Love and hugs Carole x
ReplyDeleteBrown paper? I had to look twice... hahahaha... don't think I've ever seen you use dark brown paper before.
ReplyDeleteLove this and these chicks really stand out against the dark paper... it actually makes me think of chocolate! Must be the middle chick holding the candy... because when I see chocolate, that's all I can think about!
Another fabulous card Christine, those chicks are so cute.
ReplyDeleteIf I want roses and chocolates for valentines day, I'd have to buy my own! Paul does buy me flowers now and then but not on valentines day
