FLOWER POWER

Hi Peeps...

Today I'm sharing a card for our new FLOWER POWER challenge at In The Pink... the criteria is to use FLOWERS somewhere on your creation....  and for me, as I don't do mulberry flowers, I felt that an image including flowers would be good!

I tend to return to this fabulous Tiddly Inks image over and over... this is Molly Shares...  and each time I've coloured her, she's looked different!  She's clutching a pot of flowers to give to someone - so fits the theme well.

Card Info:
Sentiment - Mama Elephant Mini Messages
Dies - Mama Elephant Mini Messages, Lawn Fawn Stitched Scallop Border
Paper - Scrap from Stash
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Hair - E21/23/25/27/29
Pinks - R81/83/85/89 (favourite combo)
Greens - G82, YV63
Twine and Glitter

If your card is chosen at random from our Perfect Pinkies - you could win a fabulous £15 voucher from Dies To Die For!

Hope to see you there...

Today I've used Tiny Townies Daffodil... now I think you probably know I don't use yellow on my cards a lot, but I did enjoy using it this time, and loved it with the green.  I love making shaker cards, so went along with that idea for this one.

Farm Friends

Hey Peeps...

I have a little set of cards today to share...  using some of the fabulous Farm Friends from MFT.  I saw a wonderful tutorial by Jennifer McGuire a couple of weeks back, and knew I'd have to give these a go.  So thank you Jennifer!

I used my new MFT Peek-a-Boo Stitched Rectangle Die to cut through two layers - then sandwiched Tulle in between creating a window.

Images - MFT Farm Friends (fussy cut)
Die - Peek-a-Boo Stitched Rectangle
Sentiments done on PC
Colouring - Copics

I did think that these would be easy - but they weren't! LOL!  Jennifer made them look that way...  but things seemed to go wrong when I played...  so they've been sitting half done for a little while..  ah well, done now...  hope you like!

Under the Weather???

Hi Crafty Peeps....

Here I am today with a fun card...  one that I LOVED colouring and making!  I definitely know my style is changing... I'm happier making this style of card more than any other now...

This is one of the MFT release for March..  she's one of the Pure Innocence girlies - the stamp set is called 'Showering You With Love' and it includes the girl, the ducklings, and a sentiment too.  And pink???  yes of COURSE!  I wish I had a pink raincoat like that....

Card Info:
Sentiment done on PC
Paper - Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Hair - E23
Raincoat - RV32/34/17
Umbrella - B12/93/95, C1/3
Ducks - Y06/Y21
White Gel Pen for Dots
Distress Ink sponged behind image - Tumbled Glass
Twine

I fussy cut the image so I could put it on foam pads, then I decided to put my own sentiment on it, so I could use it for a Get Well card..  not that I need one at the mo, but it's a good one to keep in stock!

Hope you like what I did..

Yes.... chocolate IS the answer......!!

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

It's time for another Bellarfic Friday (yayyyy!!)..  and our theme was to 'add glitter or bling' - well, as you can imagine, that was sooooooo very difficult for me, wasn't it (not!) ?  Me who uses glitter on most every card I make!! LOL!

Anyways........ I dug out a 12 x 12 paper that I've been privately stroking and gazing at adoringly (you know what I mean - we all do it!), BUT I had to slice into it as it seemed the perfect choice for this occasion - gorgeous Edna deserved no less while she's tucking in to her yummy chocolates!

Card Info:
Paper - My Mind's Eye - Sugar Plum Glisten
Die - MFT Arched Stitched Window
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Hair E21/23/25/27/29/79
Dress - R10, RV11/32/34
Wings - B60
Cushion - E70/71
Shading - W0/1/2/3
Gold Mirri Card

The paper itself has plenty of gorgeous glitter in the stars...  but I added lots more on her wings and lace..  well, a girl can never have too much sparkle, can she??  And isn't that sentiment spot on......  chocolate IS always the answer!

Hope you'll pop over to Stamping Bella HERE to see what my lovely and uber-talented teamies have come up with...  I can promise that you'll LOVE their creations!

Moody Unicorns!!

Hi Lovely Friends...

I spent a lovely afternoon today in fantasy-land, colouring unicorns!!  I really enjoyed myself, so much so that I think I'll have my hair dyed multi-colours too!

These guys are from Gerda Steiner - and they have been waiting to be inked up for a little while..  and as I heard loud mutterings come from my 'new stash' box, and hadn't anything to catch up on (yes I'm organised for once!), it was their time for the spotlight!

Paper - Scrap of MFT
Colouring - Copics

Glitter

I can't tell you how much this card made me smile while I was colouring it.... I know we all love our colouring time, but for some reason, I got even more of a kick out of this one!

Big hugs and Happy Crafting...

Pretty Bonnet

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

I'm here to share one of the fabulous new release images from Wendy at All Dressed Up - available from today!  This little lady is called Pretty Bonnet... and she is perfect for Easter with her basket full of eggs.  There are four new images to check out...  and they're all fabulous!!

Card Info:
Paper - LOTV Promises
Die - Lil' Inkers Stitched Rectangles
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Hair - E40/23/25
Lilacs - V01/04
Aquas - BG10/11/72
Pinks - SRV63/55
Greens - YG61/63
Yellow - YR21
Ribbon and Stickles

I love aquas and lilacs, but of course, I did sneak a little tiny bit of pink in there....... check out the flowers and eggs! LOL

Now, on a side note - is anyone else missing how blogland used to work with lots of nice meaningful comments?  I'm not sure things are better now Instagram and Facebook have taken over...  it's all too easy to quickly press 'like' when it's actually only done for speed and ease rather than actually reading and appreciating..  I know, because I do it myself on occasion when I haven't got a lot of time!  I still try to read people's blog posts - it used to be a way to catch up on lives rather than just  creations, and I miss that. I'm thinking of starting up a campaign to get blogland back to what it used to be...  a place to make crafty friends!

Let me know what you think...

Big hugs
