Hi Crafty Peeps....
Here I am today with a fun card... one that I LOVED colouring and making! I definitely know my style is changing... I'm happier making this style of card more than any other now...
This is one of the MFT release for March.. she's one of the Pure Innocence girlies - the stamp set is called 'Showering You With Love' and it includes the girl, the ducklings, and a sentiment too. And pink??? yes of COURSE! I wish I had a pink raincoat like that....

I fussy cut the image so I could put it on foam pads, then I decided to put my own sentiment on it, so I could use it for a Get Well card.. not that I need one at the mo, but it's a good one to keep in stock!
Hope you like what I did..
Big hugs
Eeeek love this xx

This is adorable, Christine! Fabulous colouring of that sweet MFT image and I love your paper choice. CAS is definitely MY style too - to the point where I find it hard to over embellish these days, so this little card is right up my street! Hugs, Lisa x
ReplyDeleteThis is simply precious and would brighten anyone's day who is under the weather!

Love how you matched the colours in your image to the paper you chose and it's such a lovely bright card, sure to cheer up anyone feeling poorly. I do know just where you're coming from as regards a changing style, I certainly never thought for one moment that I would fall in love with making CAS cards, even though I admired them in others, but I have and I find I feel much more drawn to that style at the moment. Perhaps it's simply because it feels more of a challenge and there's room to grow and still much to learn, I don't know, I just know I love it and I love this card! :) xx
ReplyDeleteSo cute Christine. Love the paper and how the ducks are on the level and the girl is down in the paper... gives it great dimension.
