So Long Whimsie Doodles.....

Hi Lovely Blogging Peeps....

Today I'm a little sad, as I have decided it's time for me to step down from the Whimsie Doodles Design Team...

I've enjoyed being part of the team and using the fabulous images for a couple of years now - but it's about time I started to be able to use all the other wonderful stamps and images that I buy and that just sit on my desk and wait........ and wait!
I chose to use Spring Lizzie for my card - and yes... there's very little pink..... I don't know if I'm happy or not with this!  Her hat is sort of peachy - not quite the nice pink I love - so not counted!  And I used yellow!  That's a colour I generally save that to only use on chicks! LOL!

Materials used:
Crafts Too Embossing Folder

It's a bit warmer here today than the cold 4/5 deg C conditions we had yesterday...  My lovely OH and I walked to the end of our road where the Tour De Yorkshire was passing by......  they'd had rain and snow on their way - I have every respect for those cyclists!!

An amazing sight!

Big hugs to all and Happy Crafting...

  2. This is such a pretty spring card, I love the combination of colours you've used. It definitely brightened my day hunnie.

We have the Tour De Yorkshire coming through Middlesbrough - we have one of the start stages right in the town centre, and it travels through one of our parks and then onto to Great Ayton & Stokesley. It's such a great event for the area - the OH will be going to watch. :)

    Hugs x

I have stood on a cricket field for 2 hours this morning, I'm so cold I still can't feel my feet! Need sunshine!! Oh well that's the cricket season for you!

I haven't watched any cycling in yonks... My dad used to race (I did for a couple of years too when I was a kid), and we spent every Sunday at the club watching him win, lol. x
