Summer Fun from Whimsie Doodles

 

Hi Peeps.....

The sun is shining up here in Yorkshire today..  so I'm pleased to say my card celebrates the sun......  as you can see by the sentiment!

Over at Whimsie Doodles we have a brand new challenge for you..  

As this ISN'T a photograph inspiration - you can interpret this challenge any way you want!  

I chose to use one of the lovely Summer Fun digis available at Whimsie Doodles - this is Watermelon Treat.


Materials:
Dies: Lil' Inkers Stitched Circles, Paper Smooches Dots and Dashes
Papers: LOTV Perfect Pair, Echo Park Hello Summer
Colouring - Copics:
Skin E000/00/21/11/04, R21
Hair E21/34/23
Greens YG03/63/67
Watermelon Pinks: RV11/14
Dress: B000/00, RV91/93
Sentiment done on PC - Font is Clicker Script

    Christine...This is really beautiful. I love the colour combination you have put together with those sooo pretty papers but it is your stunning colouring of that super cut image that steals the show...just gorgeous...

    HI Sweet Christine! Oh yes .. this definitely makes me think of watermelons with that perfect pink color that only watermelons have during the summer! In fact, we have a huge one sitting on the counter waiting to be cut open! ;) This is so STUNNING Christine, with of course your image coloured so BEAUTIFULLY like always!
