Gummiapan Flower Bed

Hi Lovelies...

I've used a tiny little flower die from Gummiapan for my card today - creating a little Spring scene.

I used Distress Oxides for the diecut square background which I splattered with water,. Then  I coloured the diecut flowers and adhered them with a tiny diecut sun and a cloud.

I created the card base with an embossed panel to give texture, matted onto pink card.  A tiny little sentiment finished the card.

Card Info:
Dies - Gummiapan Flower Bed, Lil' Inkers Sun, Memory Box Cloud,
Lil' Inkers Stitched Square, Honey Bee Sentiment Strips
Distress Oxides
Sentiment - The Stamp Market Tons of Type
Altenew Linked Ovals Embossing Folder

I'm sorry that the photos aren't good of this card, it was a grey day so the light was really poor for the photography - so the whites look a little grey!

Happy Crafting!

Waffle Flower Mod Blossom

Hi Peeps...

Today, I'm sharing a couple of cards I made with a new Waffle Flower Die and Stencil set - it's called Mod Blossom, and is so easy to use!  I diecut the flower panel first of all, then popped it onto my grip mat, with the stencil over top.  No stamp was needed as I just used small brushes on my ink pads to blend colour onto the flowers and leaves.

You can see from this panel that the sentiment is diecut from silver cardstock, with a shadow of white to help it stand out.  I added gems to the centre of the flowers that surrounded the sentiment, so there's lots of sparkle.

Then I did some subtle smooshing onto a panel of Bristol Smooth the size of my card.  I adhered the diecut panel onto this using double sided foam tape under the flowers and around the edge.. Lastly, I diecut a rectangle frame to finish the card.

I did pretty much the same for my pink card, the only difference is that the sentiment is cut from gold mirri instead of the silver.

Card Info:
Dies and Stencils - Waffle Flower Mod Blossom, MFT Rectangle Frame
Inkpads - Simon Says Stamp Blues, Catherine Pooler Pinks, .

I was really happy with how both of these cards turned out...  hope you like them too!  Which is  your favourite... blue or pink??

Big hugs
