MFT Snowflake Flurry

Hey Lovelies..

Today I'm in my pink zone....  this time using an MFT background stamp on an ink blended background.  I stamped it with Versamark then sprinkled with Wow fine white embossing powder before heat embossing.  I added it to my white card base, then diecut a 'Christmas' word out of silver mirri card, then added a 'Merry' stamped and heat embossed with silver on white card.  Finally I added some gems to the centre of the large snowflakes.

Background Stamp - MFT Snowflake Flurry
Die - Clearly Besotted Merry Christmas

Memory Box Christmas Scene

Hi Lovelies....

Last week, I received a lovely card from a crafty friend in Sweden - and I was inspired to try a similar design myself as I loved it so much!

I used a snowflakes embossing folder for my background.... then cut a circle which I blended with Distress Oxides.  I then diecut the little hillside scene (using a really old die!), cutting that also with the circle die so that it fit snugly onto the original circle.  I used a Posca pen to create the snow, then edged the circle with crystal Stickles glitter glue.  I added a holly sprig which I'd punched out (with a very old punch!) and coloured.  I then adhered the scene to my background, matting and layering to blue and finally my white card base.

Lastly, I created a little sentiment which I stamped with Versamark on some scrap Distress Oxide blended card - so that it matched the scene, and embossed it in white.  I backed it with some card I'd glittered with Stickles glitter glue.

Card Info:

Sentiment - Pretty Pink Posh Christmas Sentiments

Hope you like my make today.... thank you to Tina for the inspiration !

LOTV Santa and Friends

Hi Lovelies...

Today, for my card, I used this gorgeous digi image from LOTV - it's called Santa and Friends (for obvious reasons!)  I coloured up the image, then used a light Copic to draw some wallpaper behind them.  I diecut a frame from red glitter card, and added a couple more in white card to give the frame depth.  I created the background using an embossing folder, then lastly a red panel.

I added lots of glitter to Santa, and some Glossy Accents to the baubles on the tree.  Then a tiny sentiment - and it was finished!

Sweet November Stamps No Peeking Santa

Hi Lovelies...

As promised.... here is the No Peeking Santa from Sweet November.  I printed and coloured the image, then masked it so I was able to sponge Distress Oxide in the background.

I used a Sepia pencil to go around the image to give it depth and shadow.  Then I adhered the Santa panel behind a strip of dotty paper, with a tiny strip of glitter card.

Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from Mama Elephant Mixed Holiday Greetings - and it was done.
