Hollybobs!

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

Today I'm here with my Digi Queen DT card for Polka Doodles...  I must be feeling in the festive mood!

I've used the gorgeous 'Presents' image - she's from the Work and Play 5 Festive Hollybobs Collection CD.  And I also used some of the digi paper from the same collection.... it really is brim full of fabulous Christmas images!

Copics:
Skin E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E21, E34, E23
Dress and Headband: R24, R29, R46., E57
Holly: G21, G99
Shading: W0, W1, W2, W3, W5, plus plenty of blender pen
I used a Sharpie Poster Paint Pen for the white dots.

Supplies:
Dies: Lil' Inkers Stitched Square and Stitched Banner, CC Designs Holly
Sentiment - PC generated
Ribbon, Glossy Accents and Glitter from Stash

I do love colouring in red, but it's tricky, as it can so easily bleed - but I think I did OK here.  As you can see, I'm also experimenting with the shading around the image...  trouble is I never know when to stop!  And if you like the dotty dress and headband - they're easily done with a white gel pen or (like I did), a Sharpie Poster Paint Pen.

Why don't you take a peek over at the Polka Doodles blog HERE to see what the other DT members have got up to..  you'll find tons of fabulous inspiration from the talented lovelies that I'm so proud to be working alongside!

Big hugs and Happy Crafting

  11. Another fabulous make Christine and a super cute image to boot.
There are some horrid Christmas papers around this year, haven't bought any, so hardly any left which is very unusual, wish it was the same with other papers.

  17. So beautiful, this little lady looks fabulous in her dress and your colouring is gorgeous (I know what you mean about tricky red!). I've been experimenting with some shading too and I'm always scared of ruining the whole thing - yours looks fantastic! The bow and sparkly berries are a perfect finishing touch.
