A little cheating...

Hi Girls

First of all I want to welcome my new followers... and yayyyy I've broken the 100!  Thank you for wanting to follow my blog - it makes me happy that you've done so!

Just a very quick card this morning... and what I think is probably classed as cheating... but....  as I really had to get on making some Christmas cards that didn't take forever to colour, I decided to go for it!  Sooooo  I bought some of these little robins from Ebay!  They may be oriental robins I think.... (from China.. hehe), but what the heck.... they look the part, if a little uppity with their beaks so far up in the air!!  Well ok, I could have REALLY cheated and said I'd made the robins couldn't I? LOL!

So there you go, white linen cardstock for the card and the layers, that difficult to find sizzix holly embossing folder, and a little Christmas sentiment from a Paula Pascual set and it was done (oh and with a little tiny gem too).  And eight were made in the time it would take me to do one with a coloured image!

Hope you like my CAS card!
Happy Sunday
Hugs
Christine x

  7. This card is beautiful Christine. And I dont see using the wee robin as cheating one bit. Its no different that buying flowers to embellish a card. Its a beautiful card. Lee x

  18. Hi Christine, now this one is very elegant! Whose to know you 'cheated' unless you tell. And how is using this sort of embelishment any different from a butterfly or die-cut embelishment - and that's not cheating!!! Sarah

PS - Congrats on going over 100 followers, not far to 200 now!

  19. Deffo not cheating Christine. You still have to design and make the card! What cute little robins they are too. I might have to have a go at making some of them!
