Stamping Bella Oddball Cherry Blossom

Hi Peeps...

Today, for my Bellarific Friday post, I've used the fabulous Oddball Cherry Blossom - I do love her kimono and would love one just like that!  

Now there is a story with this card... I created a Copic background sky and grounding (after being encouraged by lovely Elaine)...  and I think I'd done OK, but then I chickened a bit and decided to add some little branches around her to give a bit of a frame.  I was doing so well until I attached one of the stamps back to front on my Misti...  so when I stamped I ended up with a blob of grey ink!

I had to quickly remake - by fussy cutting the girl and the cherry blossoms - before creating a new sky background with my Copics.... then stamping the branches BEFORE adding the image on 3D foam pads.  My goodness - it was like restarting the card - think that would have been easier.

I did add some gold watercolour paint to her kimono, but it's not something that shows well in a photograph.

Rachelle Anne Miller Animal Balloons

Hi Lovelies...

How're you all doing??

For my card today, I've used a fabulous digi image from Rachelle Anne Miller - this is called Animal Balloons - and is so sweet and easy to colour.

I decided on a small slimline card, colouring the image with my Copics and shading around to give them depth.  Then I printed and cut out more balloons, coloured them and fussy cut, so adhere with 3D foam pads.

MFT Grand Greenery

Hi Lovelies..

For my card today, I've used the MFT Grande Greenery Die to create a Thinking of You card...  I've used this die before as I find it perfect for quiet, reflective cards.  This time though, I have played with some Lindy's Magical Powders for the background... also cutting the die from the same card.  All you do with the powders, is sprinkle them on some watercolour card...  spray with water and watch the magic happen... it truly is amazing!!  Such fabulous gold glimmer appears - with all the different shades of green - so just right for this foliage.  I decided to cut the die again from gold mirri card to highlight the gold in the background... and also splattered with gold watercolour paint.  I've got to admit, I was a bit green all over by the time I'd finished.... but was happy!!!

Stamping Bella Rainbow Dandy

Hi Peeps...

Well I've been a little quiet card-wise this week... no reason really, just other stuff going on.  I'm also fighting the 'photography' of my makes... I spend lots of time trying to get 'just the right' photograph, with little success.  One day... 

Anyways - my card today for Stamping Bella is using another one of the fabulous Dandy Lions.... this is Rainbow Dandy - isn't he so cute holding his rainbow up high???

Stamping Bella Tiny Townies Garden Girls Lily of the Valley

Hi Lovelies...

Well, another week's gone by, so it's Bellarific Friday time at Stamping Bella...  I really can't believe how fast the weeks go!

I've used one of the Tiny Townies Garden Girls for my card today... the Lily of the Valley is flowering well in my garden, so I chose to use this particularly girl - and to do a bit of no-line colouring.  I then fussy cut her and laid her to one side while I made the card.

I created the background with a stripey stencil and some Distress Ink blending...  then cut the oval from it.  I'd already smooshed some card using the same Distress Ink.. so added some acetate to the oval window, creating a shaker aperture.  I then added the flower girl and a sentiment - and it was done.

Pretty Pink Posh Spring Wreath

Hi Lovelies...

Today my card is a just for fun one....  I've used this fabulous Spring Wreath stamp from Pretty Pink Posh... but this time stamped it with Desert Sand Memento Ink - so it gives a no-line colouring effect.

I finished off with a little sentiment in the centre, embossed in gold, then added the panel to some pink cardstock using 3D foam.

Rachelle Anne Miller Balloon Ride

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm sharing a card I made using the gorgeous Balloon Ride digi stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller Designs.  

I coloured and fussy cut the image - taking extra care with the balloon strings!  Then I created a background using a cloud stencil, and a small panel with a stamped and heat embossed gold sentiment.  I then adhered the girl and her balloons to the panel.

All Dressed Up Daisy Fairy

Hi Lovelies...

It's time for a new release at All Dressed Up Stamps - so today I'm highlighting this gorgeous Daisy Fairy.  I coloured and fussy cut her, before die-cutting an oval for her to be adhered to with foam pads.  I did a little bit of Distress Ink Blending on the oval.. just to give her a bit of definition.  I really loved colouring this lovely fairy..  she's so sweet!

All Dressed Up Summer Fairy

Hi Lovelies...

It's the first day of the month - so it's time for a new challenge over at the All Dressed Up Facebook Page - and this time the theme is..

FLOWERS

There are so many wonderful images from All Dressed Up that have lots of flowers - but one of my favourites is this Summer Fairy... isn't she just gorgeous??  I coloured her then shaded around her, adding white gel pen dots.  I then added a little sentiment, and a strip of dotty paper with a tiny touch of gold mirri peeking out.
