Hi Peeps...
Today I'm sharing a shaker card I made using the fabulous MFT Mistletoe Cover Plate that I bought recently at the Harrogate Stamperama Show (ahem.. amongst a few other things I bought!)
Firstly I used my Distress Oxide Inks to colour a white panel - using Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint to give subtle green shades. Then I diecut using the cover plate.
I adhered acetate behind the cover plate, then I used lots of 3D foam strips around the edge of the diecut piece, and also under some of the leaves too, to give the acetate strength in the middle. I added some sequins and beads, then added the white panel behind.
I diecut the rectangle frame, then the word from red glitter card - I was happy with the effect. I added a few Nuvo Drops to create the berries, and it was done.
Card Info:
MFT Mistletoe Cover Plate
MFT A2 Rectangle Frame
MFT Lower Case Alphabet
Sequins and beads
Distress Oxide Inks
Nuvo Drops
Hope you like my make today as much as I enjoyed making it.. it was quite simple to make, as it is mainly diecutting!
Big Hugs
