It'll soon be Halloween...

Hi There...

My card today uses one of the fabulous new Oddballs from Stamping Bella's newest release..  don't you just LOVE this witch???

Of course, witches need some colour too... so purple it was!  I used a starry embossing folder for the background (difficult to see) after I'd blended some Distress Oxide purples and sprinkled water to give texture.

Card Info:
Star Embossing Folder
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E21/11
Hair - BV23/25/29
Dress and Hat - V20/15/04 YR04
Broom - YR24/27 E57
Distress Oxides - Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord
Sequins

Of course, I added some sparkle to finish!

I stamped the sentiment then cut out the words separately so I could place where I wanted..  so easy to do.

It's Bellarific Friday today so you can hop over to the blog later to see what the my fellow teamies have come up with to inspire, and then pop over to the Sistahood Facebook page to share your creations and join in the chat.  You could win $25 in Bella Bucks to spend if your card is chosen as the monthly winner...

Have a lovely weekend...

Hi..

Today my card is using one of the new images from All Dressed Up this month...  this one is called Tweet Dreams.

I went over to Otley today as Dies to Die For were holding a pop-up shop alongside Faye's Copic Classes...  it was lovely to see Tracy and Faye again - and of course, to increase my stash with lots of goodies!

Under the Weather??

Hi Peeps...

I'm back today with more rainbow colouring... I couldn't resist colouring these umbrellas from the Clearly Besotted April Showers stamp set.  I was inspired by a card on the Clearly Besotted website when I ordered..  but I haven't used the sentiment from the set - preferring to use these cards to send to someone who is poorly..  I just thought the umbrellas were apt!

I actually fussy cut the umbrellas - but there is a die set available.

The colours I used are exactly the same as I used on the balloons card in my last post, so I'm not going to list them all again.  The sentiment was done on the PC, and the die is an MFT Stitched Rectangle.

Get Well cards are always handy to have in stock..  as I never seem to have 'the right' one when I need it.. so now I will!

I've gone all minimalist with my cards just lately..  I'm enjoying a bit of a change and getting happily into CAS mode - hope you like!

I'm in a rainbow state of mind and have been having a little play with my Copics...  and these fabulous balloons from the Clearly Besotted Make a Wish Die Set which has been on my desk for ages waiting to be put to use!

Diecuts like these are a good way to practice blending - I used three different colours for each balloon.

Hope you're all having a lovely day..

Wildflowers

Hi Peeps...

I've been playing today - with a stamp set from the September release from My Favourite Things.

I fell for this set when I saw the MFT DT using them in the run up to the release.. and of course was inspired by their fabulous cards.  The particular card that made me NEED this set was by Debbie Olsen - thank you Debbie for the inspiration!  I put my own twist on the design - but enjoyed using similar colours.

I decided to do a bit of 'smooshing' with Distress Inks to create the background (using Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Twisted Citron)..  then I coloured the flowers with my Copics.

Image - MFT Wildflowers Stamp Set
Sentiment - MFT Essential Sentiments
Die - MFT Dienamics Stitched Rectangles Stax

I Love You More than Unicorns....

Hi Lovelies...

Another Bellarific Friday has come round quickly after the excitement of the wonderful new release (have you got your order in yet?)  We have a Stamping Bella  Stamp of the Month set to highlight this time - the fabulous Set of Unicorns - which you can get at 25% discount throughout September!

I created a band of distress ink blending by taping post-it tape above and below where I wanted the ink to be..  then splashed with water before dabbing dry, to create texture.  When I peeled off the tape - I had a perfect strip of colour that the unicorns could sit in.

Card Info:

I Love My Cuddly Toys...... (seriously!)

Hey Peeps...

It's time for another monthly challenge over at All Dressed Up..  and this time the theme is

FOR THE KIDZ

This is such an easy-peasy challenge - as there are soooooo many All Dressed Up images that are suitable for kids...  this one included.  And of course, I reverted to my usual pink for this gorgeous girlie!

Card Info:
Dies - Lil' Inkers Stitched Flag, Stamping Bella Happy Word
'Days' Sentiment done on PC
Colouring - Copics
Hair - E21/23/25
Skin - E0000/000/00/01/04, R20
Dress - RV10/11/32
Teddy E51/53/55, Dog N1/2/3/5
Shading N0/1/2/3/5

Before printing this gorgeous digi image, I removed the original sentiment by using my erase tool in my photo programme... it's easy to do if you prefer a different sentiment.

I have to own up here that I DO actually love my cuddly toys.... I have lots around the house.... some that my girls had when they were young that are well loved, and lots I've managed to accumulate myself through the years.

Don't forget to join in this challenge - you have all of September to do so.  Here's the link to our Facebook Page where you'll find details.  Just be sure to use an All Dressed Up image to enter.

Happy Crafting...
