Wine Anyone???

Hi there...

Friday has come around again - quickly this week for me as I've had a busy week.  Anyways... it's Bellarific time again and this time we were to use an image from the latest release.  One of my favourites from that release was the Uptown Girls Whitney and Wendy Love Wine..  but I've been putting off colouring them as I did wonder how I'd get on with all those folds and flounces - I was a bit scared!

But all was good... and I loved colouring these girlies as they're having such a good time with their red wine! I think one must be drinking straight from the bottle though.... hehe!

Card Info:
Paper - MFT Sweet Celebrations
Colouring - Copics
Pink Dress - R63/55/66/69
Purple Dress - V20/22/25/17
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20

And have you heard the whisper??  There's another wonderful release coming soon...  sooooooooo exciting as there's soooooooo many wonderful new images!!  Start saving now - I know I am!

Pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog to see what the other Babes have come up with for inspiration - then why don't you join in our February challenge - the theme is Spring is in the Air - which as it's -2 degrees here today, it's not feeling like that! LOL

Happy Weekend...

Oooh now.... What to Wear???

Hi Lovely Bloggers...

Today I'm sharing a card from the February release at All Dressed Up - this is 'What to Wear'.  This lovely slim girl is choosing from her (pink) clothes from that fabulous wardrobe..  and I'm loving the chandelier too!

I decided just to go with the pink and black for my card - but did struggle to find some black card for the side panel..  After about an hour going through older pads, I found something I thought ideal.

Card Info:
Paper - from a very old pad in my stash
Colouring - Copics
Hair - C7/9
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Dresses and Accessories - R32/34

Easter Girl...

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm back to show you a DT card I made for Kinda Cute (by Patricia Alvarez).  And I decided to do a bit of no-lines colouring.  It's easy to do with a digi image - you can print out in pale grey.  In whatever photo programme you use (I use Photoshop), just lighten the image to however pale you want it.

Now I saw Patricia colour this lovely Easter Girl with no-lines on a YouTube tutorial - which gave me the inspiration to do this.  I've tried no-lines once or twice before, but generally head back to the safety of my lines quickly!  But I loved how this little girl turned out, so wanted to share.

Card Info:
Image - Easter Girl by Patricia Alvarez
(if you're quick you can get it today at 40% discount)
or if you're in the UK it's here on Etsy
Sentiment and Tag Die - Mama Elephant
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Hair - E23/27/29
Suit - N0/1/2/3/5, R00/81/83/85
Bag - R00/81/83/85
Chick - Y35
Shading T0/1/3

This no lines stuff is well outside my comfort zone - but we all need to get outside of that every now and again!! LOL!

A poorly teddy....

Hi Lovely Bloggers..

As it's Bellarfic Friday at Stamping Bella - I'm sharing a card that I made using one of the Stuffies...  - as we have a Stuffie Stamp of the Month - Bee Mine - still available at 25% reduction.

Awwww - this little guy is poorly..  he's 'Stuffy' Stuffie with his tissues, thermometer and cold bag!  LOL!

Now, if I'm colouring bears, I like to use this curly type fur colouring - it's really easy to do with lots of dots - using different shades of the colour where there are shadows etc.

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Stamping Bella Stuffy Stuffie
Paper - Echo Park Digi Country Drive
Die - MFT Pierced Circle
Colouring - Copics
Bear - E40/41/42/43/44/47, E30/31/33
Pillow - B60/C1
Pink - RV91/93/95/69
Shading - T0/1/3

I've talked about the teddy that my colouring is based on...  I thought I'd share him with you too!  He's a well loved bear...

Have a great weekend all...

A Magical Princess...

Hi Lovelies...

Today it's time for the fabulous new release at CC Designs..  there are some wonderful images that I know you'll love!

No automatic alt text available.

I chose to use the fabulous Magical Princess for my card - with her little mouse friend, and then her wonderful coach waiting to take her to the ball!

I sponged and blended a couple of my Distress Oxides for the background (after some practice getting used to them to begin with!)  Then I sprinkled some water on and dabbed dry to created a bit of texture.  The water works a lot quicker than it does on Distress Inks... no leaving it for the usual 30 seconds this time.

I've tried to capture the sparkle on her coach in my photo, but it was difficult to see properly.  I'd glittered the whole coach - so it would look like a crystal carriage... befitting of a Princess of course...

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - CC Designs Magical Princess
Dies - Mama Elephant Frames Tags, CC Designs Banner Accessories
Colouring - Copics
Hair - E50/51/53/55/57
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Dress - RV32/34
Coach - C0/1/2/3
Mouse - C1/2/3, R00, B26/28
Distress Oxide Background - Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry
Gems

There's a fun Release Party over on our Facebook page at 7pm EST - where you can win prizes.. why don't you pop over there?  Or there's also prizes to be won at the CC Designs Blog - and also on the Instagram page.

Awww such a cute little bear....

Hi Lovelies...

It's my turn for a Kinda Cute DT card - and today I'm using this gorgeous little 'Girl and Bear' by Patricia....  she's a delight to colour.

I coloured the image, then masked her so I could create some puffy clouds behind her..  I do love the effect the clouds give.  I finished off by giving her dress some polka dots..  just to add interest.

Card Info:
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Hair, Shoes and Bear - E50/51/53/55/57

It's been a busy week this week in my craft room - I've got a card each day to show you...  so I hope you're not getting tired of seeing me!

For my card I've used the gorgeous Easter Cuties..  and decided to put each little character in it's own little box so they'd each feel special!  I created a little scene in each rectangle - with a little bit of Distress Ink blending and a small hill cut from a scrap of leftover green bazzil.

Teddy Sitting Comfortably....

Hi Lovely Bloggers....

I coloured this gorgeous little teddy a little time ago for The Daily Marker 30 day challenge.  This morning when I went into my craft room, he was feeling badly done to on my desk, all lonely and cardless..... so I took pity on him and gave him a card to sit on, so he'd feel wanted and treasured - like all teddies!
(Yes... OK.... it's MY world and it's a fun world!! hehe)

I used a dotty technique to create his curly fur. My girls had a teddy that looked just like him when they were young - in fact, shhhh don't tell, but I think he may still be in a room upstairs - I had difficulty parting with lots of cuddly toys... so if I had room, they stayed!

Card Info:
Image - Lee Holland Teddy Birthday Hat
Sentiment - Papertrey Ink
Die - Lil' Inkers Stitched Rectangle
Paper - Doodlebug Designs Springtime
Colouring - Copics
Bear - E40/41/42/43/44/49, E30/31, R00
Hat - R24/27, YR21/23, G14/07
Grounding and Shading - W0/1/2/3/5
White Gel Pen
Enamel Dots

Hope you like my quick make.
