Stamping Bella Sneak Peek Day 1

Hi there lovely bloggers...

Well it's an exciting day... it's time for sneak peeks of the fabulous new release from Stamping Bella!!  You won't believe what amazing images are in this release...  which is due to release on 4 December.... just in time for putting on your Christmas list... yes?? LOL!

My card is using one of the fabulous Zodiac Uptown Girl images - Leo is my star sign so I was really happy to colour this lady a little lion-like!  There is a horoscope description that also comes with the stamp - I chose to put it inside my card.

Today my DT card is for Kinda Cute (by Patricia Alvarez) - and this image is the fabulous 'Kids Singing'.  It's such a perfect image for this time of year of course - the carolling with start shortly - I love to hear children especially singing their little socks off!  And then I love a glass of mulled wine while I'm listening!

We went to our first Christmas Fayre of the year yesterday - to one held in Ripley Castle - it was a wonderful fair and I'm glad I went - even though it was jam packed, the atmosphere in the castle was wonderful.  And I didn't spend a lot.... howabout that?? hehe!

I chose to use my favourite (shhhhhhh don't tell the others) character - and that's Edna.  This time, she's under the mistletoe awaiting a kiss from a handsome man..

Frida Loves Frosty....

It's Bellarific Friday again.....  and this time we had to use some embossing on our cards...

I chose to use this gorgeous pair, and used an embossed panel - but I also decoupaged some of the bits, and used my embossing tool to make them rounded before layering.  Difficult to photograph of course, but I hope you can get the idea.

Hi Lovelies...

I'm sharing my DT card today using one of the gorgeous images from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez...  have you seen her images yet??  They're FAB!

This is 'Snowman Taking Photos' - aptly named of course... LOL!  Now it's always difficult to colour snowmen (who are generally white!), but when you look closely, they have lots of shadows which gives them colour and lets you play with the pale gray colours, and even blue-violets, also shading around the image which makes them stand out.  And then of course, you can add SPARKLE!

Santa Has Arrived (ok, not really!)

 

Hi Peeps....

I've got another C********s card to share today...  and one I just adored colouring!  It's Bellarific Friday (of course), and this little guy is one of the recent release from Stamping Bella - he's from The Littles, and is called 'Santa Has Arrived' (but not quite yet huh??)

We had a sketch to follow this week - and I think I came close..

I created a night sky (which nearly matched my paper) with Distress Inks, sponging Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Salty Ocean...  before sprinkling with water, then using my Sharpie White Pen for the snow.  I fussy cut Santa and his chimney, but there is a fabulous cut-it-out die available for him.

Poinsettia Joy

Hi There Lovely Bloggers...

Today I have a card for the brand new challenge at In The Pink - our theme is 

SPOTS AND/OR STRIPES (or both!)

so I chose to use spots..  I used them both on the background card, then I dotted around the flower image to give some more spots... just call me Dotty!  I used an image from our sponsor - A Day For Daisies - this is the fabulous Christmas Poinsettia.  After colouring and die-cutting the image, I took the MFT Joy word die - and die-cut through the coloured image.  I cut another couple of plain white words - and layered those in the space left by the original word, before replacing the coloured word on the top...  hmmm, hope you followed that!  Although it shows up well in real life, it was quite difficult to photograph... so I tried from different directions so you can see the depth of the word.
