FLOWER POWER...

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

I'm back into my pink zone today, as it's time for another challenge at In The Pink - and this time our theme is

FLOWER POWER

Now I'm JUST old enough to remember the sixties and flower power at it's height....  I had wonderful psychedelic coloured posters pinned up all around my bedroom!  I was a bit of a hippie... not really old enough to be a proper one though - but I did wear lots of suede fringing and long skirts!!

Our lovely sponsor this time is Bugaboo Stamps - and I chose to use one of their fabulous images for my card.  She's a real cutie and has a massive bunch of flowers for someone special.

Card Info:
Sentiment - Paper Smooches Simply Said
Dies - Dienamics Double Stitched Rectangle, Your Next Stamp Heart Banner
Paper - Authentique
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/70, R20

Dress, Bow and Flowers- R81/83/85
Leaves G80, YG61/63
Flower Wrapping - RV91/93 Uni Posca Pen for the Dots

Hope you like what I did - it's relatively CAS - I think that's my favourite type!

Rudolph the Skating Reindeer

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends..

Well....... it's happened.....  I've made my first Christmas card for this year and it's only September!  Blame that Stamping Bella....  my head was turned by their wonderful release...  so much so that my bank manager got a bit nervous...  but hey, the happy mail I received made me smile, and surely that's what money is for!

So... meet Rudolph The Skating Reindeer!  The title is self explanatory really....  and reminds me of the wonderful scene in Bambi where the little guy is trying to find his feet on ice!  Remember?  Ooh lovely memories of going to see that at the cinema (yes I'M THAT old!)...

Now I'm still practising with Distress Ink backgrounds - I really do struggle when all these tutorials I watch on YouTube make it look sooooo easy! But I'm relatively happy...

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Stamping Bella Rudolph the Skating Reindeer - available from Dies to Die for in the UK
Die - Double Stitched Rectangle (slightly altered to give the size I needed)
Paper - from stash - no name
Colouring - Copics
Reindeer - E30/31/33/34/37/57/47
Nose and Scarf - R21/37/89
Hooves and Skates - N5/7
Shading N0/1
Background - Distress Inks - Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire
Snowflakes - Sharpie Poster Pen
Glitter, Twine and Glossy Accents (for his nose!)

So..... it's over with!  My first 2016 Christmas card done!!  Expect to see a few more in the near future - I have a huge pile of stamps to get through!! LOL!

Such Adorable Elephants!!

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

I've had these little elephants sitting on my craft table for a while - so I thought it time they saw a Copic!!  I've been a bit in the mojo doldrums lately, so thought they may give me a bit of inspiration - and I'm glad I played!

I fussy cut the little guy and made him 3D by using some foam pads..  I thought it gave him just that bit extra.

Sequins and Glitter from stash

He's such a cute little elephant - I loved working with him..... and I also love being back in my lovely pink zone!

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

I'm here again with another of my DT cards for the new release at CC Designs it's such a wonderful Autumn/Fall release, that again, I had to use rich colours.... and........ NO PINK!

This time, I thought I'd give 'no lines colouring' a try for a change!  I stamped the image in Memento Desert Sand - then used a Copic Fineliner to go over the face details and fox's eye.  I'm not sure I'm over-happy with the result... but enjoyed playing!
