A Little Prayer...

Hi Lovely Bloggers...

Yes.... I'm here with another DT card using a fabulous stamp from the new release by CC Designs.. have you seen them yet??  So many lovely stamps to choose from!

This is one of the new Roberto's Rascals - Praying Twila..  with a mischievous glint in her eye!  It reminds me of when my daughters used to be in their Nativity Plays at primary school - there was always a little look sideways to see where Mum and Dad were sitting!

Materials:
(stamped with Versamark onto vellum and heat embossed)
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/21/11/04, R20
Hair - E21/34/23
Gown and Wings - C0/1/3/5
Background - B91/93 with a bit of B60 for the floor
Uni Posca White Pen
Glitter for halo and wings
Embossing paste used with stencil and glitter added
(you can never have too much sparkle!)

Although I used the square die - I did actually create a rectangle for the image.  I did this by taping the die onto the card to be used - running it partway through my diecutting machine (going into reverse to take it out backward!), then placing it (again with the tape) to exactly the size rectangle needed - and running it through the machine only partway again.  The idea is that you don't (either time) get to the other end of the square.  OK, that all sounded a bit mixed up - but I'm sure you know what I mean!  Maybe I need to do a video tutorial on it if you don't??

This card was sooooooo difficult to photograph as I used mirri card for the frames..  so I kept on getting a glint of reflection.  I hope you can see the effect.

Big hugs and Happy Crafting

  8. Now I shall be singing "say a little prayer for me" all night.
Gorgeous, but you lost me a bit with the Cuttlebug, but that is easy to do. You are right she has a mischievous look about her.
