Walking on Sunshine....

Hi Lovely Friends...

OK, so who remembers Katrina and The Waves singing that song for Eurovision??  In other words, who is as old as me??? hehe!

Today's card is for our Fabby Friday post at Tiddly Inks - a time when we can choose one of our favourite images and go colour!

I chose to use the lovely Fairy Sunny Day...  and look at me - yet again, I made a card where the strongest colour isn't pink!  In fact...  really.... shock/horror.... it's yellow again!!  Yellow is a colour I don't normally go for (as most of you may have picked up in my previous posts..) but I'm getting to like it!  Do you think I need treatment??  Is there a cure???

Card Recipe:
Paper - Echo Park Sweet Girl
Dies: Dienamics Fishtail Banner and Button Border (for the one button!)
Colouring - Copics:
Hair - Y21, YR23, E15/18
Skin - E000/00/21/11/04, R20
Pinks - RV91/95 (Wings), RV14, R56/39
Greens - G82/99
Flowers - C1/3/5
Sequins, Gems, Glitter and Hemp Cord from Stash

I have to admit, this little fairy really brightened my day when I coloured her... hope she can bring some sunshine to you too!

Little Bobo Petal Sprite...

Hi Lovely Blogging Buddies..

When I saw this gorgeous little cutie called Bobo Petal Sprite from Make It Crafty..  I knew I had to create a CAS style card with her...she just NEEDED to be centre of attention with not much else to distract us from looking at her - although she is doing her very best to hide in that rose - she's obviously feeling a little bit shy today!

Can you tell I'm back in my pink comfort zone? LOL!

Make It Crafty have a current Design Team call for Clean and Simple styled cards...  so I thought I'd enter as I do love their fabulous images! (Click on the pic below to get further details)

Card Recipe:
Dies: Lil' Inker Stitched Square, Papertrey Ink Tiny Tags
Sentiment done on PC
Hemp Cord and Glitter
Colouring - Copics:
Pinks: RV91, R81/83/85/89
Greens: G20 (Dress), G82/99 (Leaves)
Shading: B0000/000/12/Blender

 Hope you like...

The sun is shining in my part of the world today - so I'm going out for a walk to enjoy it.  Then when I'm back, I may just have to do a little gardening... everything is just starting to peek through to see the Spring sunshine - such an exciting time in the garden as each year, I forget what's been planted the year before. Who knows - I may just find a little Bobo hiding amongst the buds!

Lots of Layers at In The Pink...

Hi Lovely Bloggers...

I can't believe it, but another two weeks has gone by - and here I am sharing a DT card again for In The Pink.  Our challenge this time is 'Lots of Layers' - it sounds easy - but when it's me you're talking to...  it's not! LOL!  Because most of my cards now are becoming quite clean and simple - and because I choose not to use flowers...  I did find this one hard!!  But...  I found some delicious paper that I'd bought at the Harrogate papercraft show (some last year, some this)..  I thought I'd use a bit of matting and 'layering..' - well, that counts, doesn't it??

It's a new shade of pink for me too... I don't often go for a quiet pale salmon..  but matching the paper otherwise would have been difficult.

So there you go..  hope you like!

Card Recipe:
Image - LOTV Fairy Tea
Paper - Reprint Hobby - Basics Collection
Colouring - Copics and PrismaColour Pencils
Skin: E000/00/21/11/04, R20
Hair: E21/34/23
Pinks: R0000/000, RV11/32/95/42
Green shades Prismacolour for Grass
Dies: Nesties Circle and Scalloped Circle, PTI Scalloped Border
Pearls, Glitter and Ribbon

Hope you'll join us at In The Pink this time - you've got to be better at layers than me!!  And there's a wonderful voucher to be won from the very generous Ribbon Girl too...  so what's stopping you??  LOL!  There's some fabulous inspiration from the lovely Pink Ladies too - you'll be glad you popped over!

Big hugs and Happy Crafting...

Spring!

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mum's and all the Special Ladies out there!  Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Today it's the turn of Whimsie Doodles who have a wonderful new challenge - and the theme is:

SPRING IN YOUR STEP

I couldn't think of anything more spring like than bunnies and Easter - so combined the two!  I did aim for pale pastels - but maybe went a little two pale?  In actual fact - in real life, it's not as pale as the photo is showing..  but hey... that's a camera for you - frustrating at times!

Card Recipe:
Dies: Lawn Fawn Stitched Scallop Border, Lil' Inkers Stitched Tag
Paper - Pink Petticoat
Colouring - Copics
Violets: BV0000/00/04
Pinks: RV91/93
Yellows: Y11
Bunny: T0/1/3/5
Basket: E40/42/43
Uni Posca Pen for white dots
Glitter

I do love springtime - the longer days, everything just starting to show through in the garden, exciting times - as we generally have to guess what the plant is going to be!  Neither my lovely OH nor I have good memories as to what's been planted previously!

Pop by the blog to see what the fabulous DT ladies have come up with for inspiration... then take a peek at the fabulous Easter images available in the store..

Fancy a little dance, Ducky??

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

It's Fabby Friday time at Tiddlyinks!!

It's OK, don't try to re-adjust your monitor... it IS me with another un-pink card!

And this time, apart from skin and hair etc, it's without Copics either!  I decided to used my Promarkers that are sitting unloved..  and being as how I love this kind of green and purple together..  they jumped out at me!

But then, after I'd coloured...  I didn't have a clue what paper I would use (typical me!)... I was hoping there would be something that would MAYBE go with the colouring in my stash - but when I looked, I found this LOTV paper - how perfectly it matched - PHEW!!!  It would have been a totally CAS card otherwise!

Card Recipe
Paper - LOTV Promises 8 x 8 pad
Dies: Lil' Inkers Stitched Rectangle, Dienamics Rounded Banner Stax
Colouring:
Skin - Copics E000/00/21/11/04, R20
Hair: Copics E23/25/29
Promarkers: Orchid/Amethyst/Purple

Shading Copics B0000/B000/Powder Blue Promarker
Copics: T0/1/3/5
Uni Posca Pen for White Dots

I'm so loving being able to use these wonderful Tiddly Inks images..  they really are fabulous to colour and bring to life... and there's so much choice!

Do take a look and see what the wonderful ladies of the DT have come up with for you..  there are fabulous creations to be seen and to inspire!

Have a lovely weekend... I'm off to the Harrogate Papercraft Show this morning..  if you're going and see me there - give me a nudge as I'm useless at recognising people!!
